Edward “Murph” Murphy - 1962 XLCH

 

Here are some photos of my 1962 XLCH. The bike is currently on display at the Motorcycleopedia, so I can't get any better ones right now.

Murph contributed these photos to illustrate why the eyebrow (67809-59A) for the 1963 to Early-1966 has a notch in it. The notch was used for the accessory tachometer that became available at 62 XLCH 4044. Factory documentation on the tach kit is here. More about the notched eyebrow is here. Murph's photos show the cable routing all the way down to the magneto.
