Hello, gents.
I have decided to reproduce the 52-58 lock and light cylinder mounts and retaining clips. (71620-52 and 71621-52) They are about done being stamped as original. The drawings look excellent but I haven't held any parts in my hand yet. I'm having them cad plated with the exception of a smaller number of the retaining clip done in park. I have surmised that they were parkerized early on and switched to cadmium at some point. The NOS clip that sold on eBay a while back was cad. They can't be seen when installed so I'm not going to fixate.

I have found that there are a couple more hard to find brackets that I may reproduce depending upon how this project goes. I am open to suggestions but I have found the following to be difficult to find and not reproduced. The parts that cover more years would get priority.

27448-57 Throttle Control Coil Bracket - 57 up

38676-52 Control Coil Bracket - Frame Mount 52 up

69029-57 Horn Trumpet Mount Bracket 57-64

56628-57 Horn Mount Timer Control Coil Bracket 57-64

I will follow up on the current project.

27448-57 is available from Old Dude...at least it used to be

38676-52 are very hard to find these days...I would definitely take a few

Old Dude does not have that bracket which is why it's on my list. I will ask again to make sure. Thanks!

Got the brackets in. The timer bracket is fine but the Horn Bracket had the chamfer on the wrong side. It will be a couple more weeks and they will go out for plating.

Brackets are in. I need to finish each one by hand before cad plating. Unfortunately I'll be overseas for three weeks which also means I won't make Davenport, dammit.

Hi Ron,
I do not make enough parts to warrant a catalog. Maybe a small leaflet. ?

The only parts I make so far are the above horn and timer bracket and the lock cylinder brackets. I'm working on a couple more helpful things I hope to get together later in the year.

I desperately need a Horn Trumpet Mount Bracket for my 57. It doesn't need to be plated. Is there something we can do to make this happen?
