Shock length

Can anyone tell me the length eye to eye of 54501-67 shock absorbers and also the length of the same in high ground clearance? All I can find is shocks that are 14.5” and they push down into the connected exhaust I’m running on a 69 xlch.

The shocks on my 1970 XLCH are 14.5" center of eye to center of eye.
I assume that these are the 54504-67 high ground clearance shocks for the XLCH.

Are you running the stock interconnected exhaust? The shock stud rubs on mine.

The shocks rubbed on those pipes when they were new in the showroom.
