Here are what I believe to be stroker pistons for the K model - anyone seen similar?

Yes, made a few sets, trim a little of the skirt to clear wheels.

Neat - were yours to put KH wheels in the K cases?

Well sort of. Built a few 5" stroke 61.5" KHKs.

Not K but W.
Had Venolia make me these stroker pistons with K pop up.
Skirts and sides machined by me.
Price fair and quality superb. Ive given up India or far east pistons..

Nice pistons GuS.

Eric, I'd be curious to hear more about your 5" stroker Ks and how they performed, held together, and what the build consisted of!

One year of all my "freetime" was biggest expense. Very nice slugs Gus. Venolia is top notch, far Superior to Superior. I talked w ROSS years ago but they wanted a large order so never pursued. I have had OK luck with the eastern stuff but no match for Venolia's quality forged pistons. Nor have I tried racing or pushing the limits of the cast Eastern pistons. The 1956 KHKR 61.5" K is a torque monster not to be pushed past 3500. Tallest gearing available is a must. Sportster primary included w 33 teeth. I used T&O Wheels, surprise, S&S Supreme Rods, made taller Valve Covers, Stroker Plates, Andrews Gears & Shafts, cut down Piston skirts, stock Intake, lots of case/rod relieving. .090" clearance everywhere. Balanced at 56% 3,000 rpm. M53A1 works great. Sold in 2001 to a fellow in California who put it in a 56 Norton. Run E .420 cams. Love that Stroke! Erik K
