On the pad next to the choke lever cam and power needle will be the M-53A1 for 54 and up.

Amazing what you can see once you clean it better...it is an M-53. The carb looks great after the first wave of cleaning.

The 2-418 is just the body casting number. The casting is different, than say like a M-35 which has 2-398 for a casting number, both 4 bolts, but the castings are different
