Mike, use big twin shoes, the -38 part number mentioned above.

For some reason the side plate is harder to find than the mammoth front brake.
The side plate in the picture is not mine and was lent to me by a friend.
Even though the plate has been lightened, the R of the part number is still visible.

I don't have the knowledge if all side plates came with the R number.

I have some NOS original 41805-38 brake shoe sets if interested.
