Well, unfortunately for them it was the 80" class with mainly Big Twins that Joe beat with the 55" KHR. Widowmaker...so If you were wondering which bike is witch...here's a guide, 1st photo, Joe on the 45" working. Joe on the 55" cruising both to win Peoria, Aug 1954. SO the 98 with the tail on the 9 is the 55"KHR. And here's my Joe Beer. The atmospheric pressure makes sealed containers from SoCal crush up here. Have no idea why... and an early win for young Joe 3rd photo.
