I may have the shift pawls in the wrong orientation. They can be installed in more than way. The attached picture shows the way I think they should be installed.
Can someone comment on whether they are installed correctly?
I have an exploded view of the shift mechanism, but the pawls are too small to really tell if they are in properly.

as an old man told me too many times, ya got it bass akwards. sharp side in . it will be easy to understand when you get the whole assembly complete Kmodels do to have side valves
