Identifying a fender

Postby Simon » Tue Nov 07, 2017 10:38 pm

Yet another question that I really should know the answer for. Is this NOS fender 59-? XLCH, or would it have been used on other models?

No coil indent, and hole for the -55 Guide light. Would it have been used on any of the KH models, or 58 XLC for example?

Thanks again!

Thanks Dave. What distinguishes it from the earlier CH? Rivets?

Just a thought while we are at rear fender. Starting with 52 to sometime in 53 the stock long rear fender had no large exposed rivets like later. Also 52 Fender Struts were straight not bell mouthed on forward end.
