It was a different world after the war. Sad that most clubs didn't regroup afterward. Gypsy Tours with sharp dressed folks on sharp looking motorcycles were really big before '42.

I saw this machine 20 years + ago. It belonged to an old time Harley dealer here in Canada. He told me at the time that there were only 3 manufactured. He also believed that it was the last surviving one. Picture is out a o book called Inside Harley Davidson by Jerry Hatfield. Published in 1990.

Well Hennesse it takes a steel bar to make me part with money for yet another Harley book, but with one intriguing post/picture you have succeeded where many would fail. Thanks for the link Amazon are counting my money as I type.
