Will a panel of Marque Experts examine my machine and provide recommendations on how I can eliminate deviations from the factory as-built condition?

I understand some judges who are not at Oley, not even in the same state, and maybe not even on the same continent, might judge my bike. Are techno-geeks gonna use some kind of Virtual Reality goggles to see across time and space? --or-- Are wizards in long cloaks with stars and planets on them gonna use crystal balls to divine the defects?

I've been reading about Virtual Judging in the last two issues of the AMCA magazine. Especially cool was Bruce Palmer (How To Restore Your Harley-Davidson) helping to judge a WLA in Australia from his home in Florida. Wow. Inter-continental. Antipodeal.

SIGN ME UP!!! I've already pre-registered my bike for AMCA judging at: the AMCA Judging Pre-Registration webpage

Note: K-models and Sportsters have been Virtually Judged at by OSKRG members at Oley 2016, 2017, and 2018. You can see the action on the OSKRG-East pages in our Gallery section.

Dave,

In preparation for having your bike judged both virtually and in site at Oley, prior to that I suggest you get with K Model Marque Specialists within our group like Stan, Roger, Scott and others to "peer review" your bike. In preparation for that you can have them identify various locations and parts on the bike to photograph (wire routing as an example), have them examine the photos and provide feedback to you. Probably 10 to 15 high resolution shots may suffice. Scott has suggested we do that photo shoot and peer in preparation for any AMCA judging session, virtual or on site. Armed with all of the good stuff from the "wisdom of the crowd" and the council of elders your bike will probably get the recognition it justly deserves.
