The 67-69 KRTT Low-boy should be included. The factory riders used them, don't know if any of the
privateers had any.

Beau, The information I provided came from a former staff member of the racing department. I have two hi boys (both Fred Nix) and one lo boy (Roger Reiman) but doubt I will be stripping them to weigh them. If anyone else wants to do that with theirs that would be great. :)

My KR/XLR frame with 58R neck weights 30.5 lbs, slightly lightened, so ist seems to be a "late" 52R frame
My XRTT frame weights 19.5 lbs, it seems to be a later frame, as it uses a -67 tomohawk casting and a square tube swingarm. The swingarm weights 7.5 lbs ...

Are you sure it isn't a 57R casting number?
If that's the case, based on the weight it would be an XLRTT frame.
Factory issue XRTT frames did not use the 67 pivot casting.
They made 51 in 1972 and still had some laying around at the factory in the 1980s.
All Alloy XRTT frames had round swing arms
There are two versions of the Alloy XRTT swingarm both with round tubing.

You are completely right about the 57R Neck, mixed that up. The frame has also a stamped steel top Motor mount. I will post Pictures soon.

The XRTT frame is definately not 72, but seems to be quite authentic. It came with Morris wheels, Tank, Cerianis and CB disc brakes:

The Seat is aftermarket und the shocks just for the First assembly ... this picture is 10years old.

The XRTT frame continued in production by various parties after Harley Davidson's initial run of 51.
You can still buy one from some people today.
The better replicas use the 52 pivot casting as the original print calls for.
None were manufactured by Harley's source with a 67 pivot casting.
There were no square section tubing swingarms.
It looks like a nice frame.
It's just not an original.
There are far more XRTTs today then ever left Nichols Engineering or the Factory Race Department.
