For what it's worth...Gasbox has the high pipe back in stock for $280. Not that I'm an expert but they appear to be very close to original

I've ran one on my '63 XLH for about a year and a half now. It's a great pipe, kinda hard to get on and off if you really need to.

It didn't fit in between the fender and shock like it should have though, it wanted to sit about 0.250" into the shock itself. No amount of "tweaking" got it to fit there. I ended up machining some custom shock mount studs that were 0.375" longer on the hex part to space my shock out and clear the pipe.

Overall for the price I rate it 9/10. I'd buy another if I had another 60's XL. Get a boot guard too, I've lost a few pairs of jeans.

I had almost exactly the same experience on a ‘62 XLCH. Same clearance issues in the shock area. The clamp bolt/stud is a little short. Otherwise they’re well worth the price. The big issue is with the discoloration of the chrome. It starts to turn color at around 220°F. I shot some VHT black Krinkle inside the head pipe area which seems to help. Otherwise it’s a constant rub down with Blue Magic. I don’t think the chrome quality today is what it used to be.

Yep, should have added that, mine discolored SUPER fast. I'd say within the first 250 miles. Chrome definitely isn't that thick and where the rear cylinder meets the front pipe it's burned off entirely.
