Got hold of the person who had the shop for long time, no luck, he only has late 60's style with cutout for electric starter. Got one more person to go visit nearby, if you don't find anything at Oley I'll be at the AMCA meet second week of June in Dixon CA. Know there's one out there somewhere that's not a fortune. I'll be in touch after visiting the shop nearby next week.

Tommy, thanks for checking and keeping an eye out for me!! Fingers crossed I can score one at Oley this week. Half the fun is tracking down these old parts

Wondering if you found a sprocket cover at Oley? No luck on my end, both my guys don't have. Still have the Dixon meet out here in June. Can't believe prices I see on ebay for ones that have been welded or chewed up from a loose chain.
Know in the old days after being welded guys would polish the cover until the crack seam was almost invisible, usually they were chroming them back then but polishing yours then bead or sand blasting might do the trick.
Think everyone's trying to get rich off certain parts these days.

Hey Tommy, sorry for the late reply...the hunt is over. I bought a really nice cover from Murph at the Oley meet for a fair price. Big thanks to both of you guys!!
