Hi all
I am looking for the muffler support bracket for 56 KHK part no 65316-52
I have some questions that I would be grateful if anyone here can answer:
This part no was replaced in with a -56 part no.. Im aware that the 56 frame is different from the 52 frame - the 56KHK uses which support bracket? -52 or -56?
How can I tell the difference between the 2 if Im looking on something like ebay?
Will either work in fact?
Anyone have one they wish to sell?

Here is a little chart I threw together showing the support tubes from the parts books. Not to scale! But you can see the different shapes.



The tubes that share a drawing (like 65513-52 and -57) are not the same, there is some subtle difference between them. Sorry, but I do not know any more. Jerrrrrry - do you know the difference between the -52 and -57 ?

There is also 65530-53 which I believe is used by the KR and 58 XLCH with straight pipes - looks like the -58 bracket in the illustration above...

Oops! My mistake. Maybe I should put my glasses on. The 65530-58 does NOT exist - it's really 65530-53. I corrected the image in my earlier post.

I don't have the -52 hanger dimensioned but I do the -57. This might help a little with telling the difference between them. The -52 hanger has a much greater offset than the -57.

Jerry, you have the years on the far right of your photo - I couldn't see them unless I made my browser window really wide. Maybe others have this problem, so I redid your photo slightly. The difference between the -52 and -57 is tremendous, and is now quite obvious. Thank you for your tremendous efforts!!!
