This is just an example "Build" to get the ball rolling...
I bought this rather rough 1954 KH from a former co-worker in 2014. The bike had been wrecked by the first owner, and resurrected by the local Harley dealer by grafting-in the frame, front end, and many, many other parts from a wrecked 1952 or 1953 K. Then Forrest's friend, a semi-pro racer, donated many KR racing parts to make the bike a little faster. These included the KR oil tank, KR #7 heads, KR double valve springs, and as I found out much later, KR valves.
Some additional parts came in boxes and baskets - the original headlight, fork tins, a KH gas tank with a broken mounting tab, a Sportster "turtle tank" which didn't fit on the frame, an original exhaust system, and many other pieces and parts.
