Thought i would share a few photo's of the 2 KHRTT's i have owned in the past. The orange bike (1955) was found in Port Angeles, Washington, it was wearing a panhead M54 carb so i had Sudco send me a 32mm Mikunii with the proper adapters and jetted for the bike. It had a tag on the front hub that showed it was sold by Otto Drager the HD dealer in Seattle at the time. I was told by an old timer the dealer brought it to the spring opener for folks to test ride. The motor is stamped KHR from the race shop with am M added from the production line. I have heard of one other set of cases stamped like this and it was in Arizona but stolen and never seen again. Bike now resides in Japan.
Red bike (1954) i bought from Howard "Shotgun" Winchester a well know rider in the day from Corpus Christi Texas, had a Dudley Perkins exchange motor, "Shotgun" says riders would send him a motor and he'd send it back guaranteed to do 120 mph. He raced it on the Texas mile for a HD dealer laying flat on the bike and weighting about a 100 lbs, said he also raced it at a drag race against Parnelli Jones in a P38 fuel tank race car for an exhibition race. I added the Enfield racing primary for remote start as my knee replacement did not allow me to kick any more. Bike now resides in Odessa Texas.
